Caledonia households to share $430K in aid
March 20.
I would like to know what Ontario Conservative Leader John Tory thinks about the $8,000 base compensation to be given to native survivors of residential schools. If he considers that the $6,000 to be given to households bordering the disputed land in Caledonia "nowhere comes close to recognizing the diminished property values," or recognizes "the suffering they've gone through," how would he compare it to the recognition Canada has given to the suffering of residential school survivors?
