I lied.

A few other things we had a surprise party for Erin last last Tuesday (the 15th - her birthday) it was very successful - somehow. And I managed to pull it together enough to attend Phil's going away party on Friday even though I felt like ASS. He's in South America for a month - jealous. It was a lot of fun. Getting ready I looked and felt like shit - I was steaming my head in pjs 20 mins before I walked out the door and someone pulled off looking decent and behaving well, I was fun even. My inspiration? As I told my friends, "one thing I've learned from watching America's Next Top Model is that when you have to go 'to work' it doesn't matter if you're sick." As Erin noted, "yup, beauty is tough business."
