That is what I picture being said amongst these comments back and forth.

Dans une entrevue au réseau TVA, lundi, Lucien Bouchard a fait le point sur les constatations qu'il avait faites, un an plus tôt, lors de la publication du Manifeste pour un Québec lucide.

Il a notamment déploré le fait que les Québécois travaillent moins d'heures que les Ontariens et les Américains. Pour cette raison, les Québécois sont moins riches que leurs voisins, et qui dit moins de richesse collective dit moins d'argent pour se payer des services publics, a souligné l'ex-premier ministre.

Former Quebec premier Lucien Bouchard sparked a furor this week when he claimed Quebeckers don't work hard enough and need to embrace better work ethics in order to create more wealth. He said that both Ontarians and Americans work harder.

Following this controversial remark (amongst others) by Bouchard, former Premiers Parizeau and Bouchard exchanged "words" through the Press.


Parizeau:
«Une fois de plus, nous, les Québécois, on déçoit M. Bouchard. Une fois de plus. Et je trouve ça dommage.»
"Once again, we Quebeckers have disappointed Mr. Bouchard. Once again. What a pity!"

Bouchard:
«M. Parizeau m'a beaucoup déçu moi-même, un soir d'octobre 1995, avec le discours qu'il a prononcé.»
"Mr. Parizeau once disappointed me a lot with a speech he gave one evening of October, 1995."
